Para el desmontaje parcial NO REA-
LICE las operaciones marcadas con el símbolo "8".

PELIGRO
8 Ponga un soporte adecuado por debajo del vehícu-
lo para impedir que caiga.
8 Coloque el vehículo encima del caballete central so-
bre una superficie de elevación, de forma que la rueda
delantera sobresalga del borde de la superficie misma.
8 Levante la superficie a una altura de 50-60 cm del
suelo, para poder extraer fácilmente el escudo delan-
tero exterior de la horquilla (tras haber realizado las
operaciones siguientes).
Desmonte el escudo delantero interior, véase pág. 43
(DESMONTAJE ESCUDO DELANTERO INTERIOR).
Desconecte los dos terminales del indicador de di-
rección delantero.
8 Desmonte la rueda delantera, véase pág. 107 (RUE-
DA DELANTERA - DESMONTAJE).
8 Desmonte el guardabarros delantero, véase pág. 45
(DESMONTAJE GUARDABARROS DELANTERO).
Afloje y quite los tres tornillos (1).
Afloje y quite el tornillo (2).
Afloje y quite el tornillo (3).

Maneje con precaución los componentes de plástico
y los pintados para no rayarlos o dañarlos.

ATENCION
Para el desmontaje parcial: coloque un paño de pro-
tección sobre el guardabarros delantero.
Saque parcialmente el escudo delantero exterior y
apóyelo sobre el paño.
8 Saque el escudo delantero exterior extrayéndolo de
la horquilla.

Desmonte la cobertura escudo inferior, véase pág. 41
(DESMONTAJE COBERTURA ESCUDO INFERIOR).
Destornille y quite los tres tornillos (1).
Destornille y quite el tornillo (2).
Destornille y quite el tornillo (4) recuperando la aran-
dela.

Saque el escudo inferior de su sede.

WARNING
8 Place a proper support under the vehicle, in order
to prevent it from falling down.
8 Position the vehicle on the centre stand on a lifting
platform, with the front wheel protruding from the plat-
form edge.
8 Raise the platform at 50-60 cm from the ground, in
order to be able to withdraw the front outer shield from
the fork (after performing the following operations).
Remove the front inner shield, see p. 43 (REMOVING
THE FRONT INNER SHIELD).
Disconnect the two terminals of the front direction in-
dicator.
8 Remove the front wheel, see p. 107 (FRONT
WHEEL - DISASSEMBLY).
8 Remove the front mudguard, see p. 45 (REMOVING
THE FRONT MUDGUARD).
Unscrew and remove the three screws (1).
Unscrew and remove the screw (2).
Unscrew and remove the screw (3).

Handle the plastic or painted components with care
and avoid scraping or damaging them.

For the partial removal: put a cloth on the front mud-
guard to protect it.
Partially remove the front outer shield and put it on the
cloth.
8 Remove the front outer shield by withdrawing it from
the fork.

Remove the lower shield cover, see p. 41 (REMOVING
THE LOWER SHIELD COVER).
Unscrew and remove the three screws (1).
Unscrew and remove the screw (2).
Unscrew and remove the screw (4), taking the wash-
er.

and avoid scraping or damaging them.
Remove the lower shield from its seat.
