Notes To keep the batteries from popping out, insert the bottom row first.
Make sure that the battery terminals are touching the compartment
terminals.
Step 6.
The Stand Still and Step Off lights will turn on for about 6 seconds,
then turn off. If the device is face down, you may not see these lights.
Firmly hold the display and pull it from the Scale to release it
from the plastic fastener strips that hold it in place.
Turn the display over and unplug the cord inside the top of the
column.
Gently push the Battery Compartment cover in the direction of
the arrow symbol and lift it off.
Remove the old batteries and properly dispose of them.
Place the new batteries in the Battery Compartment so that the
positive (+) and negative (-) terminals match the diagram in the
compartment.
Replace the cover by inserting its tabs into the slots and gently
pressing the cover into place.
