MEASURING THE DENSITY OF A LIQUID USING A
CALIBRATED SINKER (NOT SUPPLIED)
1. To enable this feature, enter the density setup menu
and select the following: Density type: Liquid.
NOTE: When the density type is set to liquid, the
liquid type and porous material selections are
disabled.
2. Confirm that the default value displayed (sinker
volume) is correct.
3. To edit the default values, touch EDIT SETTINGS and
the Settings screen is now displayed:
• Settings available: Sinker volume
• Functions available: Return to application
4. To adjust the sinker volume value, touch the SINKER
VOLUME button.
5. A numeric input window is displayed. Key in the
desired value, then press √.
6. The display returns to the previous screen with the
new value highlighted.
7. To return to the density determination home screen,
touch RETURN TO APPLICATION.
8. Press BEGIN DENSITY DETERMINATION to start the
process.
