When the screen shown on the right appears,
remove the USB cable, and click Finish.
The network connection between the machine and
the computer is now successfully established.
To confirm the setup results, click View Setup
Results.
To change the port name, click Set Port Name on
the Setup Results dialog box. For details, see
"Changing the port name" on page 73.
Note
If "Unsafe Removal of Device" is displayed, click OK.

When the User Registration screen
appears, click Register.
If your computer is already connected to the
Internet, your Internet browser will start
automatically to display the Product Registration
page on Canon's website. Follow the on-screen
instructions to do user and product registration.
Note
You can register whenever you like at a later date
by double-clicking the Canon MP600R User
Registration icon on the desktop.
When a message asking for your confirmation to
restart your computer appears on the screen, click
OK.

Click Next on the User Registration screen.

When the screen shown on the right appears,
click Exit.
Note
If Restart is displayed, make sure that the Restart the
system now (recommended) check box is selected,
then click Restart.

To view the on-screen manual, double-click the MP600R On-screen Manual icon on the
desktop, or click Start > All Programs (or Programs) > Canon MP600R Manual > MP600R
On-screen Manual.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or later must be installed to view the on-screen manuals.
