Connecting over Wireless LAN via an Access Point
Your computer communicates with the machine via an access point (the infrastructure mode).
To share the machine among multiple computers, connect them to the access point.
Important
When using this machine over a wireless LAN, use the infrastructure mode. It does not support the ad-
hoc mode.
An access point is needed to set up the infrastructure mode. This must be purchased separately.
A wireless LAN card or adapter must be installed in your computer to connect your computer to the
wireless LAN. These must be purchased separately.
If you connect to a network that is not protected with security measures, there is a risk of disclosing data
such as your personal information to a third party.
