INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR K-SYSTEMS L100 SERIES WORKSTATIONS (English)
12.1.2.1 Rinsing of Humidifi cation System Procedure:
1. Turn off the gas fl ow.
2. Empty the gas washing bottles.
3. Pour approximately 40 ml 70% alcohol into each gas washing bottle.
4. Set the gas washing bottles back into the gassing station.
5. Remove the gas dispersion nozzles using a small piece of tape as shown.
6. Turn on the gas fl ow to approximately 30 l/h and leave the fl ow running for one hour.
7. Take some tissue paper and clean the gassing hole within the table plate with 70% alcohol while
the gas is fl owing.
8. After an hour, turn the gas fl ow off and empty the remains of the 70% alcohol left in the bottles.
9. Rinse the bottles with distilled water to ensure complete removal of the alcohol from the
humidifi cation system.
10. Fill the gas washing bottles to 2/3 with distilled water.
11. Re-establish gas fl ow to the system at 20-25 l/h and leave it running for 20 minutes.
12. Turn OFF the gas fl ow.
13. Refi tting the gas dispersion nozzles to the table plate complete the cleaning procedure.
