1.7 DANGER AND INDICATOR SIGNALS
The signs described are attached to machine (Fig. 4). Keep them
clean and replace them should they come off or become illegible.
Carefully read their descriptions and memorize their meanings.
1.7.1 WARNING SIGNALS
1) Before operating, carefully read the instruction manual.
2) Before performing any mainte-nance work, stop the
machine and consult the instruction manual.
1.7.2 DANGER SIGNALS
3) Danger of being crushed during the opening phase. Keep
at a safe distance from the machine.
4) Danger of being hooked by the Cardan shaft. Keep away
from moving parts.
5) Danger of falling. Do not climb onto the machine.
6) Danger of being trapped. Keep away from moving parts.

7) Danger of being crushed during closure. Keep at a safe
distance from the machine.
8) When using fungicidal chemicals, use suitable means of
personal protection.
9) High noise level. Use suitable ear defenders.
10) Tubes with high pressure fl u- ids. Take care to avoid oil spurts
if fl exible tubes should break. Consult the instruc- tion manual
before proceeding with any maintenance work.
1.7.3 INDICATOR SIGNALS
11) Shows the hooking points for lift-ing.
12) Greasing point.
13) The planting unit must only be transported by road with the
tanks and hoppers empty and at max speed of 25 km/h..
