INSTALLING THE SPEED SENSOR
15. Now draw the shielded 2-pin cable (blue and black cable) from the
passageway in the bulkhead to the two connection points of the
sensor coil (B 21). (Polarity does not need to be observed.)
16. Secure the cable with cable binders (B 13) so that it cannot come into
contact with any vehicle parts which rotate or become hot.
17. Remove the vehicle stands and the jack.
Installing the speed sensor - Front wheel drive
1. Install the sensors on the left or right driving side.
Examples are shown in
J 3 and J 4
CAUTION!
Never use jacks alone! Many accidents are
caused by vehicles slipping off the jack. Before
working under the vehicle, always place stands
underneath for additional safety.
2. Jack up the side of the vehicle where the sensors are to be installed
and remove the wheel for easier access.
3. Secure the bracket (B 26) of the speed sensor to the gearbox housing
using an original bolt so that there is a distance of approx. 3 - 5 mm
between the location of the magnets and the sensor (see
4. Mount the coil (B 21) on the bracket (B 26). Select the hole
(see
K 2) as required. Use the nut (B 23) and tooth-lock washer
(B 22) for installation (see
K 2).
5. Continue with installation of the speed sensor to the cardan shaft as
described in steps 8 to 17

14.0 SÄKERHETSANVISNINGAR
Hastighetsregulatorn kan kopplas ifrån på följande sätt:
a) Tryck på bromspedalen
b) Tryck på kopplingspedalen
c ) Genom en lätt beröring på "ON/OFF"-brytaren
d) Reducerar körhastigheten med ca 25 % under den sparade
hastigheten
e) Urkoppling av tändning
Hastighetsregulatorn slås ur drift, om de elektriska anslutningarna bryts
eller om bromsljuset skulle vara defekt. Den elektroniska modulen och
apparaten för vakuumservo innehåller talrika säkerhetskännetecken som
garanti. Skulle en eller flera beståndsdelar sluta fungera, kopplar
hastighetsregulatorn automatiskt ifrån.
För att garantera en säker och ekonomisk drift, aktivera ALDRIG
MAGIC SPEED:
- när fordonet är i Stop-and Go-drift
- på våta eller halkiga vägar (isgata)!

Skulle det någonsin uppstå en situation, där ovan
anförda åtgärder under punkt a) till c) inte skulle
kunna sätta hastighetsregulatorn ur drift består
möjligheten att, genom urkoppling av tändningen
sätta MAGIC-SPEED-CONTROL-systemet ur drift.
Vrid aldrig ur tändningsnyckeln under färd,
eftersom ratten då blockeras.
