15.0 TEST DRIVE AND ADJUSTMENT
Your cruise control is pre-adjusted in the factory. If it is properly installed,
it should work satisfactorily in most vehicles. In order to find out whether
any additional adjustment is necessary, please carry out a test drive as
follows:
1. Switch MAGIC SPEED on by pressing the ON/OFF switch once. The
LED will light up.
2. Press the „SET" button and increase the speed slowly, using the
accelerator, from 40 to 50 kph. The cruise control should take over at
a speed between 40 and 50 kph. This is the minimum operating
speed.At this the LED of the Electronikc Modul flashes approx. once
per second. If the cruise control does not take over at a speed
between 40 - 50 kph but only at a higher speed, more magnets will
have to be installed. If the cruise control takes over at a speed of less
than 40 kph but no longer functions at speeds over 80 -120 kph and
the LED flashes more than once per secound, the black wire loops on
the electronic module have to be cut. This will change the impulse
count from 1,250 impulses/kph to 8,000 impulses/kph.
3. Increase the speed of your vehicle to 80 kph. Now press the „SET"
button and slowly release your foot from the accelerator. The cruise
control should take over smoothly and maintain a constant speed

If the vehicle loses speed when the cruise control is in operation or if
it reacts too slowly, increase the sensitivity adjustment by sliding the
switch on the electronic module to position „H" = high sensitivity
(see
K 4). Before doing so, switch off the ignition and briefly
depress the brake pedal in order to cancel the memory in the
electronic module.

If the vehicle gains speed when the cruise control is in operation or if
it operates too jerkily, reduce the sensitivity adjustment by sliding the
switch on the electronic module to position „L" = low sensitivity
(see
K 4). Before doing so, switch off the ignition and briefly
depress the brake pedal in order to cancel the memory in the
electronic module.

4. Bocka upp fordonet.
5. Montera hastighetsensorn (B 21) på fästet (B 26) (se
den öppning som är lämpligast för er bil. Hastighetssensorns
anslutningar måste visa uppåt. Använd mutter
(B 23) och tandskiva (B 22).
6. Håll nu fästet på fordonsgolvet, med ca 30 cm avstånd från
polhemsknuten (se
I 2 till I 4). Hastighetssensorns avstånd från
kardanaxeln skall uppgå till 14 mm.
7. Använd fästet som mall och markera två ställen för öppningarna.
Sedan borras ø 4,5 mm-hål. Montera fästet med hjälp av två 6 x 19 mm
långa plåtskruvar (B 25).
8. Som nästa steg fästs magneten på kardanaxeln.
9. Rengör monteringsytan för magneten.
10. Lägg plastbandet med den påförda magneten (B 24) om kardanaxeln
och dra spetsen på plastbandet genom förreglingen på bandets åt
motsatt håll löpande ände. Dra ännu inte åt plastbandet.
11. Förskjut magneten så att den sitter mitt emot förreglingen på
plastbandet.
12. Magneten måste fästas så att den vrids igenom precis under sensorn
(se
I 2).
13. Dra åt plastbandet och klipp av ev utskjutande ände på plastbandet.
14. Fästet med sensorspolen måste riktas så att avståndet mellan
spolhuvudet och magneten uppgår till 3 - 5 mm (se
