5.20 Removing the glove compartment,
right-hand drive vehicles
– Remove the side dash panel cover
– Remove the control unit for information electronics 1 -J794-

– Undo the screw -arrow 1- on the side.
– Open the glove compartment cover and undo the screws -
arrows 2-.
– Carefully pull out the glove compartment until the electrical
connectors can be disconnected.
– Disconnect any electrical connectors and remove the glove
compartment.
Notes on installation
To install, follow the removal steps in reverse order.
5.21 Removing the gap cover on the A-pillar
– Remove the side dash panel cover
– Unclip the gap cover -1- in -the direction of the arrow-.
– Pull the gap cover upwards out of the clips on the A-pillar
and remove.
