5.29.2 Removing the left-hand side trim, A3 Cab-
riolet
– Unclip trim panel -1- using the removal wedge -T40233-,
starting at the front -arrow-.
– Disengage and detach the trim panel -1- on the trim.
– Move the convertible roof and convertible roof compartment
lid into the service position
– Remove the rear seat bench
– Remove the front left-hand belt end anchor
– Remove the left-hand sill panel trim
– Remove the front of the back panel trim
– Push the convertible roof flap -1- forwards -arrow- and re-
move bolt -3-.
– Unscrew the screw -2-.
– Undo the bolts marked -1- and -2-.
