6.2.3 Installing the control unit for the trailer rec-
ognition control unit -J345-, A3 Cabriolet
The trailer detector control unit -J345-must be installed in vehi-
cles with the preparation for the towing attachment.

◆ Left-hand luggage compartment side trim has been removed

the bracket -2- -arrow-.
The trailer detector control unit -J345- -1- engages in the brack-
et -2-.
Notes on further installation
WARNING
DO NOT connect the battery!
The battery is reconnected ONCE ALL WORK HAS BEEN
COMPLETED.
