Removing the rear bench seat
– Unclip the four covers of the child seat attachment fittings
(ISOFIX) -1- from the fixtures -2-.
– Using both hands, grip one side of the seat below the seat
frame.
– With both hands, jerk the rear bench seat -1- firmly upwards-
arrow A- so that the seat frame -2 -of the rear seat bench
disengages from the omega clips -3-.
– Repeat the procedure in the centre and on the other side of
the rear bench seat -1- -arrow B- and -arrow C-.
– Equipment variant with seat heating: detach the electrical
connector for the seat heating.
– Remove the rear bench seat -1- from the vehicle.
Notes on installation
Note
The rear bench seat wire frame must be checked each time the
rear bench seat is removed and aligned if there are signs of de-
formation.
– Equipment variant with seat heating: connect the electrical
connector for the seat heating.
– Make sure that the electrical connectors are properly locked
into place and engagement can be heard.
– Insert the rear bench seat -1- and push the wire frame -2-
firmly onto the omega clips -3-.
– Make sure that the wire frame -2- engages correctly with the
omega clips -3-.
Finally, make sure that the rear bench seat is secure and in
the correct position.
– To do this, grip one side of the seat below the seat frame
with both hands -arrow A- and pull up evenly, exerting a
force of approx. 100 to 150 N (approx. 10 to 15 kg); do not
tear.
– Repeat the procedure in the centre and on the other side of
the rear bench seat -arrow B- and -arrow C-.
