InSPeCTIon: To ensure safe, efficient operation, the Railok �� Rigid Rail Safet� S�stem should be inspected per
the instructions in Table 1 at the indicated frequencies:
IMpORTANT: Record the inspection results in the Periodic Examination and Repair History in the"General
Instructions for Use and Maintenance" (5902392).
IMpORTANT: If the Railok 90 Rigid Rail Safety System has been subjected to a fall arrest or impact forces, it
should be inspected per the instructions in Table 1 before any future use.
DeFeCTS: If inspection or operation reveals a defective/damaged condition, remove and replace the defective/
damaged component(s).
IMpORTANT: Only Capital Safety, or parties authorized in writing, should provide replacement components for
the Railok 90 Rigid Rail Safety System.
mAInTenAnCe, & SeRvICe: Guidelines for maintenance, and service are as follows:
Railok 90 Rigid Rail components may be cleaned using commercial parts cleaning solvents and rinsed with
warm, soapy water. Light machine oil may be applied to moving parts if required. Do not use excessive oil or
allow oil to contact rail clamping surfaces.
In areas where ice formation is possible, the Rails and Shuttle should be cleared of ice. When not in use, the
Shuttle should be stored per the following Storage recommendations.
SToRAGe: Store the Railok 90 Shuttle in a clean, dry, warm environment. Avoid areas where chemical vapors
may exist. Thoroughly inspect the Shuttle after extended storage. Clean and store body support and associated
system components according to the manufacturer's instructions.
