CONNECTING POWER AND TURNING ON
THE SCALE
1. The Ranger 7000 comes with an AC power cord.
Connect the power cord to a suitable grounded
electrical outlet and press the ON button on the side
of the base. (See Figure 1)
NOTE: Allow equipment to warm up for 60
minutes for optimal weighing performance.

CONNECTING THE INTERFACE

The Ranger 7000 scale has four interfaces on the back
of the terminal: (See Figure 2)
• RS-422 – Used to communicate with the base.
• RS-232 – Used to connect to computer or a printer.
• USB host
• USB slave
