The function is time-set (seconds).
• Removing the excess edge on the bag: the bag cutting function. This is optional and consists of a bag-cutting device
that allows the edge of the bag exceeding the sealing band to be torn off from the package.
• Guaranteed sealing: the double sealing function. This option allows a double seal to be performed on the bag,
which further strengthens the union between the two sheets of film.
5.2.4 REDUCING ThE RISK OF ThE BAG BEING PERFORATED: ThE OPTIONAl SOFTAIR FUNCTION
The slow return of the air into the vacuum chamber once the bag is sealed allows delicate products or products with
sharp edges to be packed (e.g. hard cheese, bacon, cured ham, chops, etc.), thereby reducing the risk of the bag being
perforated, due to rapid decompression.

5.2.5 CREATING ThE VACUUM IN EXTERNAl CONTAINERS: ThE CONTAINER (jAR) VACUUM FUNCTION
Creating a vacuum in rigid vacuum containers, allows liquid products (sauce, gravy, etc.) or products that are easily
crushed (vegetables, pastries) to be preserved.
The air can be drawn from the container through a special valve or the container can be entered directly into the vacu-
um chamber, if the size permits this. Since the machines can develop a strong vacuum, the container and its special lid,
which has a suction valve, must be sufficiently resistant.
The resistance must remain unaltered even at low temperatures, since most products shall be kept in the refrigerator
at an average temperature of 3°C.
The function is activated via the relative button and stopped via Stop.
