9.8 PROgRAMMINg AND OPERATION: vACUUM PACKINg CONTAINERS ("jARS" FUNCTION)
Read Chapters 6.3 and 8.2 carefully
WARNINGS:
• vacuum containers are required for this operation, which are suitable for professional use and have
adequate mechanical resistance.
• liquid products must only fill the containers up to ¾ of their useful volume.
• Unless specified otherwise by the manufacturer, the vacuum containers are never to be stored in a freezer or
refrigerator at temperatures below 3°C as they could be damaged due to the combination of extremely low
temperatures and mechanical stress due to a high vacuum inside the container.
9.8.1 jAR CYClES RUN WITh ThE CONTAINER INSIDE ThE vACUUM ChAMBER
This method can be performed on all ORVED chamber packaging models.
Choose a container with suitable dimensions for the chamber..
1) Start-up. Switch the machine on via the main switch.
2) Select the jARS menu Press the "PUMP" button: the displays show the words "jARS
SElECT". Press the "SEl" key to scroll through the list of the JARS programs.
3) Place the container inside the vacuum chamber. Remember: the valve of the lid must
be in the open position or loosened.
4) Start-up the cycle by lowering the lid.
5) Interrupting the cycle. The machine immediately stops the cycle and the chamber is
decompressed when the "STOP" button is pressed at any time. The lid is opened auto-
matically. The machine returns to the set program.
