Leave the cooker to cool down slowly in or-
der to release the steam (method 1) – do
not depressurize by turning the slider or by
holding the pot under running water, oth-
erwise the juice will leak out from the jars.
7.4. Juicing
You can prepare small quantities of fruit
for juice using the pressure cooker. Add
1/4 l water to the pot, place the fruit in
the perforated insert on the non-perforat-
ed insert and, if necessary, add sugar. Cook
on the 2nd orange cooking ring. The cook-
ing time is between 10 and 20 minutes, de-
pending on the type of fruit. Depressurize
the pot under running water (method 3).
Shake for a short time before opening.
7.5. Sterilising
You can quickly sterilise baby bottles and
preserving jars in the pressure cooker. Place
parts with the opening facing downwards
in the perforated insert, add 1/4 l water
and sterilise for 20 minutes on the 2nd or-
ange cooking ring. Allow to cool slowly
(method 1).
Baby bottles and other baby articles can be
conveniently and easily sterilised using the
Sterilization Tool. Available as an accessory
in a WMF retail outlet.
7.6. Cooking with inserts
Depending on the size of the pressure
cooker, you can cook using inserts and a
trivet. The inserts and trivet not included
with the product are available as an acces-
sory from your retail outlet. You can pre-
pare several dishes at once in the pressure
cooker. The individual dishes are separat-
ed by the inserts. The dish with the longest
cooking time is placed first in the pot with-
out an insert.
Examples
Joints of meat (20 min) – bottom of the pot
Potatoes (8 min) – perforated insert
Vegetables (8 min) – non-perforated insert
First cook the joint of meat for 12 minutes.
Then open the cooker as per the instruc-

tions. Place the potatoes in the perforated
insert on the trivet, place the vegetables in
the non-perforated insert, close the cooker
and cook for a further 8 minutes. If there is
not much difference between the cooking
times, you can place all inserts in the pot
at the start. When you open the pot in be-
tween, steam is released and therefore you
must add a little more than the required
amount of liquid to the pot.
