Gaseous Fuel Regulator
In compliance with government emission
standards, regulator is preset at factory to
provide proper supply of fuel. No adjustment or
resetting of regulator is to be made. All service
relating to regulator must be performed by a
Kohler authorized dealer or qualifi ed LPG/NG
personnel only.
Primary Gas Regulator
Primary regulator reduces high pressure from
a tank or transmission line to lower pressure
required by secondary regulator on engine.
Fuel supplier provides primary regulator.
Fuel supplier is also responsible for providing
suffi cient gas pressure to operate primary
regulator.
Secondary Gas Regulator
Secondary regulator is OEM, distributor, or
dealer installed on engine and controls inlet
pressure to engine.

Repairs/Service Parts

Leakage Check/Testing
Check all fuel system connections and lines
for leaks using soapy water. Any leakage must
be corrected before restarting engine. Have
service performed by a Kohler authorized
dealer or qualifi ed LPG/NG personnel only.
Storage
If engine will be out of service for 2 months or
more follow procedure below.
1. Disconnect negative (-) battery cable.
2. Separate LPG tank from unit and store
separately in an area designated for safe
LPG tank storage.
3. Change oil while engine is still warm from
operation. Remove spark plug(s) and pour
about 1 oz. of engine oil into cylinder(s).
Replace spark plug(s) and crank engine
slowly to distribute oil.
4. Store engine in a clean, dry place.
