SISTEMA ANTI BLOCCAGGIO
DEI FRENI (ABS)
All'avvio del veicolo, dopo il
primo ciclo di controllo del cru-
scotto, la spia ABS lampeggia
fino a quando il veicolo raggi-
unge una velocità di 5 km/h (3,1
mph), dopodiché si spegne.
L' A BS (sistema frenante anti-
bloccaggio) è progettato per
evitare bloccaggi ruote, quando
i freni sono applicati duro. L' A BS
lavora con due circuiti separati
per ruota anteriore e posterio-
re.
Se i sensori ABS notano
il bloccaggio di una ruota, la
forza frenante viene ridotta leg-
germente finché la ruota gira
di nuovo. Quando l' A BS è in
funzione è possibile sentire un
po' di vibrazione sulla leva del
freno. L'applicazione dei freni è
come su una moto convenzio-
nale:
La leva del freno sinistra attiva
il freno posteriore, la leva freno
destra attiva il freno anteriore.

ANTIBLOCKIERSYSTEM (ABS)
Wenn das Fahrzeug gestartet
wird, blinkt die ABS-Warnleuch-
te nach dem ersten Kontrollzy-
klus der Instrumententafel, bis
das Fahrzeug eine Geschwin-
digkeit von 5 km/h (3,1 mph) er-
reicht und danach erlischt.
Das ABS-System (Antiblockier-
bremssystem)
Blockieren der Räder, wenn die
Bremsen hart betätigt werden.
Das ABS arbeitet mit zwei ge-
trennten Schaltkreisen für Vor-
der- und Hinterrad.
ABS-Sensoren die Blockierung
eines Rades bemerken, wird
die Bremskraft geringfügig ver-
ringert, bis sich das Rad wie-
der dreht. Wenn das ABS funk-
tioniert, können Sie eine leichte
Vibration am Bremshebel ver-
spüren. Die Anwendung der
Bremsen ist wie bei einem her-
kömmlichen Motorrad:
Der linke Bremshebel aktiviert
die hintere Bremse, der rechte
Bremshebel aktiviert die vordere
Bremse.

ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM
(ABS)
When the vehicle is started, af-
ter the initial instrument panel
check cycle, the ABS warning
lamp flashes until the vehicle
reaches a speed of 3.1 mph (5
km/h), after which it goes out.
The ABS (Anti-lock braking sys-
tem) is designed to help pre-
vent locking up the wheels,
when the brakes are applied
hard. The ABS works with two
seperate circuits for front and
rear wheel. If the ABS sensors
notice the locking of a wheel,
the brake force is reduced
slightly until the wheel turns
again. When the ABS is working
a little vibration can be felt on
the brake lever. The application
of the brakes is like on a con-
ventional motorcycle:
The left brake lever activates
the rear brake, the right brake
lever activates the front brake.
