9. Measure:
9 Connecting rod side clearance e
(Use the thickness gauge.)
Out of specification → Reassemble.
Thickness gauge (mm)
90890-03079
Connecting rod side clearance e
0.200 – 0.700 mm
(0.0079 – 0.0276 in)
NOTE:
If side clearance exceeds tolerance, disassemble
the crankshaft and replace any worn parts.
10. Install:
9 Roller bearing (on the crank 2) 1
11. Press-fit:
9 Roller bearing (inner race) 2
NOTE:
9 Position the roller bearing with the stamped mark
a facing upward and press-fit it until it contacts
the crank 2.
9 Apply Yamaha 2-stroke motor oil on the roller
bearing.

onto crank 2.
