ASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTMENT
12) Using the special tool, fit the needle bearing
and oil seal to the bearing housing.
13) Using the special service tool, assemble the
reverse-gear.
14) Using the special service tool, referring to the
illustration, assemble the bearing-housing.
15) Grease the lips of the oil-seals, and insert the
propeller shaft complete into the lower casing
cap.
16) Place a new O-ring in place.
17) Install the propeller shaft in the bearing hous-
ing.
18) Install the bearing housing and the propeller
shaft.
19) Install the lock washer, and tighten the ring nut.
Ring nut:
90 Nm (9.0 m·kg, 65 ft·lb)
20) Bend to this side the lock washer tab and the
tab which is aligned with the slot in the ring nut.
