L'S 690 provvederà a correggere automaticamente i valori di
peso e posizione senza bisogno di un ulteriore lancio.

PIANO (STATICA)
Una ruota può essere equilibrata anche con un unico contrappe-
so posto su uno dei due fianchi o al centro del canale (vedi ad
esempio tavola G); in tal caso la ruota è "staticamente" equilibra-
ta ma resta la possibilità di uno squilibrio "dinamico" (effetto di
Schimmy) tanto più marcato quanto più grande è la ruota.
N.B.: Il programma "statica" può essere utilizzato sia con ruote da
autovettura che da autocarro.
E' comunque sempre indispensabile selezionare prima la modalità
"trk" o "car" come indicato per la procedura "standard".
Per effettuare equilibrature di tipo "statico" selezionare, dopo aver
acceso l'equilibratrice o al termine di un lancio, il programma
utilizzando i tasti
Il corrispondente led risulterà acceso.

Premere per conferma. (N.B.: Se
entro circa 5 secondi l'equilibratrice ritorna automaticamente al
programma impostato in precedenza).
Sul display sinistro (1, Fig.C) appare la scritta " St".
Premere il tasto ed impostare il valore del diametro della ruo-
ta.
N.B.: Le altre dimensioni risultano non significative per questo tipo
di equilibratura.
Effettuare un lancio come descritto nella procedura "standard".
Al termine del lancio sul display destro (4, Fig.C) appare il valore
dello squilibrio, mentre l'indicatore destro (3, Fig.C) ne indica la
posizione.
Applicare il contrappeso sulla perfetta verticale (in posizione ore
12) indifferentemente sul lato interno, sul lato esterno o sul centro
del canale. In quest'ultimo caso va tenuto presente che il con-
trappeso applicato si trova su un diametro diverso da quello im-
postato. Quindi, se si prevede di applicare il peso in tale posizione,
è necessario in fase di impostazione inserire un valore di diametro
inferiore di 2 o 3 pollici al valore nominale rilevato.In modo parti-
colare osservando la tavola G dove D è il valore riportato sulla
ruota, si deve impostare un diametro pari a D1, corrispondente al
diametro interno del canale su cui è posto il contrappeso.

A wheel can also be balanced with a single weight placed on
either of the planes or in the middle of the well (refer to the ex-
ample in Fig. G).
The wheel will be "statically" balanced by there might still be
some "dynamic" unbalance (shimmy). The larger the wheel, the
more noticeable will be this unbalance.
N.B.: The static balancing programme can be used for both car
and truck wheels.
It is important to first select "trk" or "car" as described in standard
balancing procedure.
To do a static balancing, once the machine has been switched
on or after a spin, select the

At the end of the spin, the righthand display (4, Fig. C) gives the
unbalance and the right indicator (3, Fig. C) gives the position.
Attach the weight at the vertical (12 o'clock) on the inside, out-
side or in the centre well.
If you decide for the centre well, remember that the weight will
be attach at a smaller diameter than the one used to input the
data.
Therefore, when you input the diameter, subtract 2 or 3 inches
from the nominal diameter indicated.
Refer to Fig. G where D is the measurement given on the tyre.
Input a D1 diameter for the inside diameter of the well where
the weight is to be attached.
