The base module is completed with the following main components:
 On the discharge side of the service pump there is an on-off valve, a check valve and a tap for connection to the priming
circuit for suction lift installations. Moreover, if the service pump works with a closed discharge line, a water recirculation
cycle is performed in order to prevent the pump from overheating.
 Two pressure switches for the service pump (if the first fails, the second repeats permission for the pump to start).
 System connection via a "T" pipe threaded or flanged.
 Single base to which the service pump and the bracket of the electric electric panel are fitted.
 Electric panel
No suction manifold is provided with the set, as standard EN 12845 provides for the use of independent suctions for each
pump.
To complete the sets with electric pump (GEM, GEM.J) as required by the standard and to combine the various modules, the
following accessories are available:
 Threaded connector kit comprising comprising a straight pipe and threaded flanges for connecting two modules. The
pipe union of two modules is dimensioned considering only one pump in operation. In the case of three modules tubin g
is dimensioned for two pumps in operation.
 Flanged connector kit comprising a flanged a straight pipe for connecting two modules. The pipe union of two modules
is dimensioned considering only one pump in operation. In the case of three modules tubing is dimensioned for two
pumps in operation.
 Suction kit.
 Suction on/off valve for positive head installation.
 Anti-vibration joint to be installed in the suction duty pump in the event of enginepump (GEMK..)
 Flow meter kit.
 Priming tank.
 Priming tank accessory kit.

Jokey electric pump kit when one is not already fitted (GEM.J)


 Kit of universal brackets for control panels
 Monitoring the ON / OFF state of the on/off valves installed in: suction and delivery side of duty pump, priming kit, flow
meter kit.
When there are two modules fitted together with a connector kit, each one is capable of delivering the specified flow and
pressure. Where three modules are installed, each one is capable of delivering at least 50% of the required flow at the specified
pressure. Please remember that the capacity of the jockey pump must not be taken into account when calculating the useful
capacity of the module or of the modules installed together.
