TRANSPORT AND INSTALLATION
3.1
Transport and handling
All transport and handling activities must be entrusted to organizations with a track record of transporting and handling
industrial machinery and equipment. These organizations must employ specialized personnel and use certified equipment
suited to the size and weight of the packages and the logistical conditions of the sites.

-
Refer to the diagram below on correct and safe handling.
Refer to the specific documentation on the electric pump for further information.
3.2
Storage
The electric pump module must be kept in a dry environment at a temperature between 0°and 40°C. Its packaging is not
suitable for storage outdoors.
Refer to the specific documentation on the electric pump for further information.
3.3
General installation criteria
-
The installation of one or more electric pump modules must be performed according to the design drafted by specialized
technicians certified to design this type of systems. The installation must be performed by certified organizations employing
specialized personnel and suitable equipment.
-
The systems must be constructed in a workmanlike manner; once the work has been completed, the installing firm must
issue a Declaration of Conformity of the systems, guaranteeing their workmanlike execution, conformity to the design and
compliance with the reference standards. We recommend that you pay special attention to all the parts connected with the
safety of the supervising and operating personnel.
-
Before installing the set, make sure it has not been damaged during transportation.
-
Install the electric pump module in an area protected against weathering and frost, and within the recommended temperature
range.
-
The room or area where the set is installed must be under the exclusive management of specialized and suitably trained
personnel.
-
Check the electrical connections.
-
Refer to the specific documentation on the electric pump for further information.
Do not use the eyebolts on individual parts (motor, hydraulic section) to lift the entire pressure module
because these were not designed to take the entire weight of the machine.
Handle the pressure module using suitable equipment and taking care not to knock it.
Make sure that the equipment is suited to the weight of the electric pump module and to the nature of
the site.
Prohibit all unauthorized access to the electric pump module while this is being lifted and handled.
Use a crane, bridge crane or fork-lift truck to unload, handle and put down the electric pump module.
