Description of the autotest function
During the autotest the display shows
In case of failure for intervention of the membrane pressure switch, blinking
FAIL
on. After blinking and led (B) on.
To reset, turn OFF the control panel, check and correct the anomaly. Switch on the control panel,
button and the current time appears.
The autotest is interrupted in case of intervention of the duty pump pressure switch.
The self-test is interrupted (message FAIL) under the following conditions:
- The membrane pressure switch which is installed on the pump is intervened. The pressure is lower than the calibration
value of 1 bar.
- Start failure of the pump.
Offset the starting time of the self-test procedure by at least 5 minutes for each electric pump.
The purpose of the self-test function is to provide for periodic start-ups designed to prevent any problems resulting from
protracted periods of pump inactivity. It is not intended as a substitute for the periodic checks required by standard EN12845,
section 20.
A qualified technician must wire the control panel correctly with reference to the wiring diagram
provided.
Enabling auto weekly test must be performed by qualified personnel.
8.8.2 Function with automatic shutdown for fire-hydrant networks
The main control panel contains a timer, on electronic card C128 (fig.6), that enables the automatic shutdown of the pump after
the system pressure has remained constantly above the starting pressure of the pump for the length of time specified by local
regulations (the default setting is 20 minutes).

Test procedure: you can check the auto off function without waiting for the set time. Automatically start the pump and press test
button on C128 (Figure 6). The pump must stop.

The automatic shutdown time must be according to local regulations, if present
