Configuration of the SU1

3.2.1 Configuring the boost factor (Additional time)

After the Additional time button has been pressed, the boost factor increases the heating time of the
automatic modes. Its value can be configured between 0 % and 25 %.
Example: If the boost factor is set to 10 shown on the numeric display, the heating time of an automatic
mode cycle is increased by 10 % if the LED of the Additional time button is lit up during the heating.
„ Switch the SU1 off.
„ Switch the unit on.
„ Whilst the programme version of the control panel is displayed (while the "SL" LED is lit)
press the Additional time button.
„ Use the + and – buttons to set the boost factor (0 = 0 % to 25 = 25 %).
„ Press the START/STOP button to return the SU1 into its normal operating condition.

3.2.2 Configuring the air cooler running time

The air cooler can be started either manually or automatically. Its running time can be set to a value bet-
ween 0 and 10 minutes (recommended value: 4 minutes).
By pressing the Air cooling button, the air cooler can be switched off before expiry of the running time.
X Switch off the SU1.
X Switch on the unit, keeping the air cooling button depressed.
X Use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the running time of the air cooler.
0 = Air cooling is started manually by pressing the button.
1 – 10 = Set the minutes for which the air cooling will run from the start of the shrink fitting process.
X Press the "START/STOP" button to return the SG1 into its normal operating condition.
