Protecting the chucks against overheating
CZ
Excessively long manual shrink fitting or multiple heating cycles within a short time can cause a chuck or
tool to overheat. Therefore during manual shrink fitting keep the shrink fitting times as short as possible.
X Avoid overheating the chucks by imparting excessive shrinking energy and excessive shrink fitting
PL
times!
If the chuck or tool must be heated up several times within a short time (especially in cases where the
shrink fitting was unsuccessful and had to be repeated), completely cool the chuck before each heating
cycle, since otherwise the calculation of the heating energy cannot be performed correctly.

Risk of injury due to hot parts!
If after the shrinking process suitable cooling is not immediately applied
to the chuck, heat dissipates from the shrink fitting area into the tool and
the chuck! After the shrink fitting process, immediately raise the coil to the
upper position and place the chuck immediately into a suitable cooler!
For your own safety, take the following protective measures when
working with the unit:
X The unit must not be operated in an explosion hazard environment!
X Do not use any highly flammable cleaning agents!
X Make sure you cannot accidentally touch hot parts!
X When performing shrink release / shrinking in of tools, wear the gloves
supplied as protection against burns and cuts!
X Never leave hot shrink fit chucks lying in the open, instead cover them
immediately with the cooling adapters and place them in their sockets in
the cooling rack!
X Put hot tools down only on non-flammable heat-resistant surfaces!
X Apart from chucks and tools, place no metal objects in the inner area of
the induction coil, since they too will be heated up!
X Do not reach into the heating area of the coil whilst it is in operation, since
any ring, chains or the like will very quickly be heated up!
X When performing shrink fitting, wear safety glasses! When tools or chucks
are heated, fragments can break away and fly off, causing injuries!
