These gloves have been developed to protect your hands. They are made of
the above-mentioned materials. The characteristics of these gloves are a long
working life and excellent wearer comfort.

Check whether the gloves offer suitable protection for the activities you intend
to perform. Select a pair of gloves that are the right size for your hands. Take
the gloves out of their packaging.
When using the gloves, note the following points: The maximum gripping
time depends on the position that is gripped. For safety, this should never be
longer than 5 seconds.
Because of the open structure of the gloves, they cannot offer hands protec
tion against points and blows from sharp objects. Furthermore they can be
penetrated by fluids. For protection against chemicals, gloves proof against the
respective substances should be worn over these gloves. Oil, grease and
moisture reduce the resistance of all gloves to cuts, and should be avoided.
KEVLAR gloves are tear-resistant. Do not use them in the vicinity of machines
with rotating parts, since these may catch the gloves and draw the hand into
the machine.
KEVLAR gloves can be dry-cleaned or washed as shown on the label. Wash then
in water using mild detergents at a maximum temperature of 40 °C. DO NOT
USE softening agents, bleaches or oxidising agents, since these will weaken the
aramide fibres and reduce the cut resistance of the gloves. After washing,
carefully check the gloves for cuts and worn places. Discard any gloves that are
damaged too much for further use and are beyond repair, since they no longer
offer protection.
The gloves should be stored in their original packaging in a clean dry place.
Avoid exposing them to dampness or to high temperatures.
The amount of protection required for a special activity depends on the
risks inherent in it. In the final analysis it is you who bear responsibility for
selection of suitable protective equipment in view of the risks inherent at the
workplace. Please check whether these articles provide reasonable protection
for the work that you have to perform. For work that involves a high degree of
risk we offer a range of heavy-duty cut-resistant and heat-resistant KEVLAR
gloves.
