3.5.1 Inserting the chuck

DE
X Move the coil to the upper end position.
X Insert the screening plate appropriate to the chuck into the coil. Check the type and clamping
diameter of the chuck (see "Technical Data", page 45).
EN
Note: Too large, an opening in the screening plate can lead to the tool being heated up; too small, an
opening can lead to damage to the tool and/or cover plate.
X Place a suitable cooling adapter in readiness
(see "Cooling", p.42).
FR
Note: After the shrink-fit operation, the chuck must be cooled down immediately, so that the heat
does not warm it through!

CZ
X Position the chucks in the suitable tool base holder up against the stop in the positioning Vee block
underneath the linear guide.
Note: The expansion of the clamping bore amounts to only a few hundredths of a millimetre.
PL
Therefore you should only use tools with ground shanks to tolerance h4, h5 or h6.
Tools with larger shank tolerances cannot achieve process reliability in clamping!
(See also "Overview of shank tolerances", page 45).
So as to achieve the best possible clamping forces, only insert clean grease-free shanks into the
chuck.
RU
Note: If wet tools are used, heating can lead to flash generation of steam, causing injuries due to
ejection of liquids. In such cases the tool may not seat correctly and may be damaged. Therefore use
only dry tools!
ZH
Note: Check that the tool shanks used have no high points or projections in the clamping area!
Check that the chuck is mounted securely and straight in the tool holder!
Otherwise the tool and/or the coil may be damaged when the coil is lowered!
