• The grass must be cut in alternating lateral movements, whereby the movement from right to left
is the thinning action and the movement from left to right is the return stroke. The cut is made
with the left side of the disc, as shown in fig. 23.
• If the disc is tilted to the left during the thinning action, the grass falls along a line and can be
collected more easily, for example, with a rake.
• Try to move forward with an even rhythm. Stand firm with your legs slightly apart. Move forward at
the end of the return stroke and stand firm again.
• Allow the support cup to just touch the ground, so that the disc does not touch the ground.
• To reduce the risk of material becoming entangled around the disc, the following instructions
should be followed:
• Always cut with the engine at full speed.
• Avoid previously cut material during the return stroke.
• Stop the engine, release the harness and place the machine on the ground before starting to
collect the cut material.
11 TRANSPORT
• Stop the engine and wait for it to cool down.
• Fit the disc cover (Fig. 3.A).
• Hold the machine by the handles only and point the cutting device in the opposite direction to the
direction of travel. (Fig. 3).
WARNING
When transporting or storing the machine, fit disc guard code 4196086 as shown in fig. 3.A.
ATTENTION
When transporting the machine on a vehicle, ensure that it is properly and firmly secured on
the vehicle using straps. The machine must be transported in a horizontal position, with the
tank empty, ensuring that the current transport regulations for machines of this nature are not
infringed.
12 MAINTENANCE
DANGER
• Always wear protective gloves during maintenance operations.
• Do not carry out maintenance when the engine is hot.
• Poor maintenance, removal or modification of safety devices and/or the use of non-original
spare parts can lead to serious or fatal injuries to the operator or third parties.
ATTENTION
Do not use fuel (mixture) for cleaning operations.
12.1 GAS EMISSIONS COMPLIANCE

maintained in accordance with the instructions provided in the user manual in order to maintain
