ATTENTION
Do not knock the head on cement or the pavement.
Replacing the nylon line of the TAP&GO head (Fig. 16)
1. Press the tab (Fig. 16.1) and remove the cover and the internal spool.
2. Fold the line in half, leaving one side longer than the other by about 14 cm.
3. Lock the line in the notch (Fig. 16.2) on the spool.
4. Wrap each strand evenly and without twisting in the direction of the arrow in its slot.
5. After winding the line, secure it in the slots as shown in (Fig. 16.3).
6. Fit the spring.
7. Pass the line through the eyelets (Fig. 16.4).
8. Lock the head with the cover (Fig. 16.5).
9. Pull the line outwards (Fig. 16.6).
12.4 AIR FILTER
ATTENTION
A clogged filter causes the engine to run erratically, increasing consumption and reducing
power.
Every 8-10 hours of work:
1. Remove the cover (Fig. 20.A), clean the filter (Fig. 20.B).
2. Blow at a distance with compressed air from the inside to the outside.
3. Replace of dirty or damaged.
12.5 FUEL FILTER
ATTENTION
A dirty filter causes starting difficulties and reduces engine performance.
Periodically check the condition of the fuel filter. To clean the filter, pull it out of the fuel filler hole;
Replace if it is particularly dirty (Fig. 18).
12.6 ENGINE
ATTENTION
The accumulation of impurities on the cylinder can lead to overheating. This is detrimental to
engine operation.
Periodically clean cylinder fins with a brush or compressed air.
12.7 SPARK PLUG
Clean the spark plug and check the distance of the electrodes regularly. (Fig. 19). Use the TORCH
L8RTF spark plug or one of another brand with an equivalent thermal rating.
12.8 BEVEL GEAR
Every 30 operating hours, remove the screw (Fig. 6.D) on the bevel gear and check the level of
grease.
Use no more than 10 g of good quality molybdenum disulphide grease.
