17 DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY

in Piano (RE) ITALY declares under its own responsibility that
the machine:
• Type: portable brushcutter/lawnmower with internal
combustion engine
• Efco, model DSH 5000 S - DSH 5000 T
• Oleo-Mac, model BCH 500 S - BCH 500 T
• Series ID 789 XXX 0001 to 789 XXX 9999
complies with the requirements of the Directive/Regulation
and subsequent amendments or additions thereto: 2006/42/
CE - 2000/14/CE - 2014/30/EU - (EU) 2016/1628 - 2011/65/
EU, complies with the provisions of the following harmonised
standards: EN ISO 11806-1:2011 - EN 55012:2007 -
EN 55012:2007+A1:2009 - ISO 14982:1998
Conformity assessment procedures followed: Annex V -
2000/14/CE
18 WARRANTY CERTIFICATE
This machine has been designed and manufactured using
the most modern production techniques. The Manufacturer
guarantees its products for a period of 24 months from
the date of purchase for private and non-professional use.
Warranty limited to 12 months in case of professional use.
General conditions of the warranty
• The warranty is recognised from the date of purchase. The
Manufacturer will replace free of charge, through the sales
and technical assistance network, defective parts due to
material, workmanship and production. The warranty does
not deprive the buyer of their legal rights under the Civil
Code against the consequences of defects or flaws caused by
the item purchased.
• The technical personnel will intervene as soon as
possible within the time limits allowed by organisational
requirements.
• To request a warranty service, the following warranty
certificate must be presented to authorised personnel,
stamped by the retailer, completed in full and accompanied
by the purchase invoice or tax receipt proving the date of
purchase.
• The warranty is invalidated in the following cases:
• Clear lack of maintenance,

• Incorrect use of the product or tampering,
• Use of unsuitable lubricants or fuels,
• Use of non-original replacement parts,
• Interventions carried out by unauthorised personnel.
• The Manufacturer excludes consumables and parts subject
to normal wear and tear from the warranty.
• The warranty excludes product upgrades and
improvements.
• The warranty does not cover adjustments and maintenance
work occurring during the guarantee period.
• Any damage caused during transport must be reported
immediately to the carrier, otherwise the warranty will be
void.
• For engines of other makes (Briggs & Stratton, Subaru,
Honda, Kipor, Lombardini, Kohler, etc.) fitted to
our machines, the warranty granted by the engine
manufacturers applies.
• The warranty does not cover any damage, direct or indirect,
caused to persons or property by machine faults or as a
result of prolonged suspension of use of the machine.
