4. Train customer to use stairlift
correctly and safely.
• Remind them to always buckle lap belt
when using stairlift.
• Have them operate unit while you are
there to answer questions and address
concerns.
• Manual Folding Rail:
When folding the rail UP, carriage MUST
be at a position that allows rail to fully fold
up!
Damage to carriage WILL occur if
carriage is below mid-park position when
rail is folded up.
• Power Folding Rail:
Will only work when carriage is at
mid-park position.
Review disable switch.
• Control panel includes a disable switch.
Press switch toward DISABLE to
prevent rail from folding up. Use this
switch if rail is to be kept folded down
for an extended period of time.
• The disable switch also allows back
drive of power in the unlikely event of
an emergency.
• Make sure to lift
slowly where
indicated by the
"LIFT HERE"
decal on the short
rail. Lifting the rail
in a quick, sudden
motion may result in damage to the
folding rail gearbox.
• Press switch AWAY from DISABLE to
allow rail to fold and unfold correctly
under power.
NOTE: If power folding rail stops,
then slightly reverses
direction, and there are NO
OBSTRUCTIONS, call
Bruno Technical Service.
