POST-INSTALLATION ADJUSTMENTS
CARRIAGE ANGLE ADJUSTMENT

1. Remove front and top carriage covers.
2. Remove batteries.
NOTE: Do not ground battery posts to
steel plates while removing.
3. Loosen four (4) hex head bolts (Fig. 1).
4. Pivot carriage to desired angle.
5. Tighten four (4) hex head bolts.
6. Reinsert batteries and reconnect.
7. Remount and secure front and top carriage
covers.
NOTE: The angle adjustment plate (Fig. 2)
is designed with multiple slots
(rather than one continuous, open
slot) for added safety.
Bolts are inserted at the factory
into the slots to adapt to "normal"
range of angle adjustments.
However, your application may
involve angles that are steeper or
shallower than "normal".
In this case, remove bolts and
reinsert them in adjoining slots.
