The motor must be mounted using the mounting clamps (C) at the rear of the vessel,
on a specially designed transom. Care should be taken to ensure that the propeller
mechanism is adequately submerged i.e. the cavitation plate (b) of the motor is 5-
25 mm (0.2-1 inch) below the hull of the vessel (a). Once the motor has been fitted
to the vessel, the trim angle must be set, which depends on the characteristics of
the vessel, the size of the outboard motor, the water conditions and the load. This
angle should be adapted to these conditions in each case.
To adjust the trim angle, loosen the 2 clamping screws No. 37 (see image below)
and adjust the angle according to the pattern shown in the image above - "OK".
Loosen the screw (37), the bracket (27) and the screw (38) together with the pin
(41). Then attach the 4 washers as shown in the picture below and screw in the
clamping screws (37). After installation, ensure that the drive unit has no play on
the mount.
