If the motor shuts down when the gear is engaged:
a) Carefully check the screw for blockages
b) Check the condition of the spark plug and clean if necessary
c)
Check the fuel level in the tank.
NOTE: a spark plug that has recently been working can be very hot! Check the
plugs when the motor is cold or has cooled down.
3.3.2
Starting a motor flooded with oil (in the event of misalignment)
A correctly positioned horizontal motor should be oriented according to the
pictures in section 3.4.9. Incorrect positioning of the device can lead to oil
flooding the cylinder and filter, making it impossible to start the motor. In this
case, the procedure for starting a flooded motor is as follows:
Remove the air filter housing, clean it, and degrease the sponge filter itself

by soaking it in extraction gasoline and dry it before reattaching it. In the
case of a panel filter(MSW-MOE-G-2.5) , the flooded filter must be
replaced with a new one.
Remove part of the motor cover to access the spark plug and then remove
•
the ignition cable pipe from the plug and unscrew the plug.

Pull the starter cord several times to remove the oil from the combustion
chambers and, if necessary, before doing so, pour a little petrol through
the spark plug hole to dilute the oil in the combustion chamber and only
then pull the cord.

Replace the spark plug and try to start the motor according to the
procedure described in section 3.3.1

Turning off the motor
Move the throttle lever to its initial position, i.e. fully turned and allow the
motor to idle for approximately 30 seconds. On the MSW-MOE-G-6.5 model,
push the ignition lever to the starting position. Pulling the red cap out of its
