Depending on the intensity of use, it is recommended to regularly inspect the
spark plug, as its condition can give a lot of information about the condition of the
motor. A key parameter of a spark plug, which influences the correct functioning
of the motor, is the gap between the electrodes as well as the condition of the
electrode itself. The electrode is subject to wear during operation, so the
electrode gap should be checked and adjusted if necessary (see image below). If
the electrode providing the spark is too burnt out, the spark plug must be replaced
with a new one. Even with a new spark plug, the electrode gap should be checked
before fitting and adjusted if necessary - see the following 2 images.
