After the compensation has been carried out on all four wheels,
you will get the prompt (if chosen in Setup) to install the brake lock
ready and to loosen the turntables or sliding plates.
Keep brake lock ready and loosen turntables and slip plates

teering angle procedure
After run-out-compensation resp. skipping ROC you get to
steering angle procedure.
Starting process of the wheel alignment:

The steering angle procedure is needed to get caster and to get
the Steering Axis Inclination (SAI: only when procedure is done
with 20° angle). Remember that during the procedure the pedal
brake depressor has to be used.
All four sensors must be exactly leveled and fixed with the handle.

Bring the steering wheel exactly into the middle position. It can be
seen that on the coarse display as shown above in the diagram,
the detail display in the form of a water level with a red mark can
also be seen on the screen. If they are still far out of the center,
the water level cannot be seen and there are two arrows pointing
towards the middle on the steering wheel icon that is shown.
Now, align the steering wheel, simply by visual judgement, to the
middle or try deflections to the right and the left till the water level
appears.
As soon as the steering wheel is aligned in the center, a red signal
is displayed. In order that the starting values should be accepted,
you must wait for about 5 seconds and not move the steering
wheel during that time. After the values have been transferred
successfully, the signal vanishes.
It must be ensured that the car has not been put into
gear (automatic: N) and the vehicle is secured with the
hand brake, brake lock or wheel chock.
As the first part of the 'steering routine', you will be prompted to
turn to the right. Do not steer too fast and take a pause off and on
to get familiar with the time behavior of the system. For the next
wheel, you have to reach a steering deflection of 20°. As soon as
you are somewhere near this value, the water level is displayed
again as a fine-adjustment display. Once you have come into the
allowed tolerance range, the red signal can also be seen in

addition. Do not move the steering wheel. After about 5 seconds,
you will be shown by a display that the values have been saved.

The program automatically jumps to the next step.
During all measurements, ensure that the visual link
between the sensors is not interrupted. This takes
place particularly if, when steering the vehicle, you
stand directly next to it.
On the screen, the steering wheel that is shown will indicate that
you should turn it to the left. In this step, a 20° steering deflection
must be reached for the left-hand wheel. As soon as you are
nearabout this value, the water level is displayed again as a
fineadjustment indication. When you have entered the permitted
tolerance range, the red signal can also be seen in addition.
