Do not move the steering wheel and wait for 5 seconds. Thereaf-
ter, you will get an indication that the values have been saved.
Maximum left steering deflection reached
1: "coase position of steering wheel"
2: left steering deflection saved
3: use the "fine postion of steering wheel"
The program automatically jumps to the next step.
In set-up for this procedure you can pre-select:
- if you want to do the procedure always, on request or only if
something can be adjusted.
- if you want to do the procedure up to 20° always or free 10° /
20°.
4wS Steering Angle: for cars with 4 steered tyres.
Maximum Steering angle: to measure the max. steering
angle you either need electronic turntables or mecha-
nical turntables with a scale.
In set-up you have to pre select, if max. steering angle will be
measured every time automatically, on request, or never. Also in
set-up you have to pre-select wether you use electronical or
mechanical turntables.
5.10 Max. Steering angle with electronic turntables
Before starting the steering angle procedure, you have to connect
the electronic turntable via cable with the head.
- If in set-up max. steering is measured every time automatically,
you will see the pictogram
screen.
- If in set-up max. steering angle in measured only on request,
you have to click
right.
- If in set-up max. steering angle „never" is chosen, you will not
be able to measure max. steering angle.
When you turn the steering, you first have to go to 20° to measure
caster / SAI. When 20° is reached, wait for pictogram

Then, when light dissappeared, keep on turning the steering into
same direction to maximum and hold it until pictogram
comes up. Do the same procedure to the opposite direction.

Enter the values and save (4). The screen will disappear. Conti-
nue the procedure by turning to the other side, doing the same
again.
