Calibration
With installed, correctly connected and aligned sensors, data
remains in the red field
- Barrier between the IR-radiation of the angle gauge
- Remove the hindrance.
- One or more sensors outside the tolerance
- Call Customer Service and do not make any changes.
Remote operation (optional)
Press of a button does not result in program being run
Battery discharged

The message „Spare parts" does not authorize the user
to carry out any actions on the machines, with the
exception of the procedures expressly mentioned in the
maintenance manual.
It does, however, serve to provide the customer service
technician with precise information in order to shorten
the duration of the intervention.

Brief wheel alignment lesson
A wheel alignment device is a device for recording the typical
characteristic angles related to vehicles.
A wheel alignment device consists of a central unit and four
measured value sensors to be fixed to the wheels of the vehicle
with the corresponding connecting cables.
14.1
Characteristic angles
The possible characteristic angles that can be recorded or set
with the wheel alignment device are described below.
Run out compensation
Wheel-side height and side-impact compensation.
The run out compensation cleans up the measured values of the
characteristic angles of form imperfections of the wheel rim and/
or assembly errors of the wheel.
This procedure should be carried out on all the wheels.
Toe-in/single toe
Angle of a wheel center plant to the axis of
symmetry in the front or the geometric axis of
travel of the vehicle at the rear.
The axis of symmetry is the imaginary line that
divides the vehicle through the middle in the
longitudinal direction. The geometric axis of
travel specifies the direction of travel as deter
mined by the rear wheels.
Unit of measurement in degrees or millime-
ters.
Camber
Angle of the wheel center plane to the vertical.
There is said to be a positive camber when the
upper part of the wheel is inclined to the
outside. Unit of measurement in degrees.
Caster
Angle of the steering pin to the vertical in the
vehicle's longitudinal axis.
The caster is measured with a steering deflec-
tion of 10° to 20°. Unit of measurement de-
grees.
S.A.I. ( Steering Axis Inclination)
Angle of the steering pin to the vertical in the
vehicle lateral axis.
The spreading is measured with a steering
deflection of 10° to 20°. Unit of measurement
degrees.
