Deviating from the standard wheel alignment the VAG- Process
requires to adjust the camber of the front axle primarily.
Camber adjustment of the front axle
If you need further support for the adjustments, please use the

Once you have adjusted the camber of the front axle, the next
screen displays the values of the rear axle. These values also have
to be adjusted according to their tolerances.
The VAG- multilink axle process yields you to the toe adjustment.
Before you start the adjustments please make sure, that the
steering wheel is positioned and the steering clamp is mounuted
correctly.
In order to adjust the toe a special tool is necessary. the one,
which is used for the proces, has got the same functionality like
the original spezial tool VAG 1925.
This special tool allows to perform the toe adjustment both in
spring- deflected status and in a status of defined load relieving.

The use of the special tool is documented considerably in the
program. As first step you have to position the special tool in such
a way under the car, that the threaded supports are below the
subframe supports of the car.
Please follow the instructions of the software and mount the
required adapters. Using a rotary motion of the threaded supports
will connect the adapters to the subframe support.

Subsequently the vehicle has to be lifted, without lifting the
wheels off the ground. Furthermore the adapters have to be
locked with the aid of a bolt in the upper position, before the
vehicle can be lowered onto the special tool.

When you proceed with the process, you are guided to the screen
"S- Point Check", in which the toe values of a defined load
relieving can be controlled and adjusted.
In the next step you have to remove the special tool. At this it
makes sence to screw the threaded supports down.

Do not forget to level the sensor heads, as soon as the
vehicle is in spring deflected status.
Now you have to adjust the toe values a last time before you can
start with the steering procedure for the final values.
The following steps of the steering procedure correspond exactly
the steps of the standard procedure.
