For familiarizing yourself with the program and the spectrum of
functions, there is a facility to run the machine without sensors
and without a vehicle on which measurements are carried out.

bordered car is displayed at the bottom right of the main screen.

To switch back into live mode same procedure, the red-bordered
car at the bottom right side of the main screen will disappear.
The measured values now do not come from the sensors any
more, but from a simulation data record. You can demonstrate the
complete software; you must simulate the steering deflections by
pressing buttons.
Mixed operation of demo and sensors is not possible!
Please be aware, that in demo mode the run-out-
compensation can not be simulated. ROC has to be
skipped.
All values given in demo mode are not real values.

Calibration
The calibration stand, which is available as a special accessory
1 987 009 A10N, serves for simultaneous calibration of all the
four sensors.
It allows the calibration of the zero points; with the corresponding
accessories (Set of calibration mirrors 1 987 009 A18N), also
that of the full scale values as well as verification of the calibration.
Some preparatory actions are necessary for calibration or che-
cking of a calibration:
- assembling the legs of the calibration stand
When mounting the sensor heads on the stand pay
attention that the stand will not flip over because of
unbalanced weight. The sensor heads might get dama-
ged!
- installing the sensors on the calibration stand, paying attention
to the arrows on the sensors and on the calibration stand (The
arrows indicate the direction of the vehicle)
The sensors must mesh into the fixture!
- WA 900: connect four sensors
- WA 920: While you calibrate the sensors connect them with
the cable and remove the jack on the receiver for wireless
sensors (H, Fig. 1)
- Level the calibration stand turning the legs
- Level the sensors with the water level and tighten the lock that
is supplied with the calibration stand
