3.5 Control panel/control elements
ELEMENT FuNCTION
LED LED flashes in ready-to-weld state.
LED lights up constantly during the welding process.
Starts the welding process.
START
When the START/STOP key is operated during the welding process, this is stopped
STOP
and the gas post purge time is started.
If the START/STOP key is pressed once more during the gas post purge time, the gas
post purge time and the cooling liquid flow are interrupted.
ROTATION Pressing briefly: Rotor rotates step-by-step (clockwise) in the welding direction.
Pressing and holding: Rotor rotates continuously (clockwise) in the welding direction.
WIRE FEED Pressing briefly: Wire is transported step-by-step (in feed direction).

Pressing and holding: Wire is transported continuously (in feed direction).
WIRE RETuRN Pressing briefly: Wire is transported step-by-step (against the feed direction).

3.6 Remote control (optionally available)
The ORBIMAT remote control is an external remote control for controlling open welding tongs:
• Matching for all ORBIWELD TP welding tongs.
Mandatory for the usage of ORBIWELD TP welding tongs: with AVC/OSC.
• Suitable for all ORBIMAT welding power supplies (the remote control is already included in the scope of delivery with the
ORBIMAT 300 CA AVC/OSC).
This chapter only describes the basic functions of the remote control. The more advanced function and application descriptions
are described in the separate operating instructions of the remote control.

1 EMERGENCY-STOP switch Pressing: The power source is disconnected from the mains voltage.
2 Status-LED LED lit up: Power source is switched on.
