A Check that the sealing ring is in place in the
housing, and that it is undamaged.
B Fill humidifier bottle up to mark with distilled
water.
 Screw the humidifier bottle into the housing.

O flowmeter or O DigiFlow .

 Close the flow valve on the O flowmeter or O

DigiFlow.
 Screw humidifier to O flowmeter or O
2
and tighten.

Inhalation/Insufflation device

 Connect inhalation device or insufflation device
to the humidifier.

Functional test

 Open flow valve on the O
DigiFlow. The oxygen from the bubbler bubbles
through the distilled water at a flow rate above 1
L/min.
