Auto Adjustment
Auto adjustment calibrates the device to fit the patient's gait.
Before performing the Auto Adjustment
• Ensure the patient has access to a level ground walkway long enough to complete at least 15 adequate strides
without interruption at a consistent self-selected speed.
• Ensure the walkway surface is completely flat. It is recommended to perform Auto Adjustment indoors.
Note: The device will not raise the toe in level walking during the Auto-Adjustment procedure.
To perform Auto Adjustment
1. Ask the patient to stand still.
2. Enable Auto-Adjustment using the Össur Logic app.
3. A single white light on the status indicator will light up to confirm Auto-Adjustment has been initiated (Table 2)
4. Ask the patient to walk in a straight line on level ground at a self-selected walking speed, avoiding turns or
walking in a semi-circle. The indicator will light up white in a clockwise direction, showing successful step
registration.
Note: If the walkway is not long enough for completing 15 adequate strides, the patient should be instructed to
stop, turn around and then continue to walk in a straight line.
5. If successful, the device will emit an ascending audio tone, and the indicator will flash white. If unsuccessful,
the indicator will flash yellow, showing process needs to be repeated.
Troubleshooting
If the Auto Adjustment does not complete successfully:
• Ensure the alignment is correct.
• Ensure there are no obvious gait deviations, such as significant circumduction or rotation, as this may prevent
successful completion of the Auto Adjustment procedure.
• Ensure the patient is walking at consistent speed.
• Ensure the patient is not walking in a circle or turning.
• If Auto Adjustment is not confirmed after 15 adequate strides, it must be repeated until successful. The device
will not operate normally until the Auto Adjustment is successfully completed.
• Following changes to the alignment, the Auto Adjustment must be repeated.
• If LEDs are flashing yellow, the procedure must be repeated.
