FAT32 file system. To do this, the USB flash drive must be plugged
into the USB port next to the display on the front of the device.
After a few seconds, the message "USB flashdrive connected" is dis-
played on the screen. The USB flash drive must likewise be plugged
into the USB port on the front side in order to transfer data. The
following steps are then necessary:

Go to the main menu
2.
Go to the data record
3.
Hit
and choose desired file type: *.csv, or *.plkx.
4.
Hit
. The data have now been copied.
After copying the data to the USB flash drive, before
removing the flash drive from the USB port, it should
first be unmounted by pressing the icon
top drop-down list. If the USB flash drive is not
unmounted prior to connecting it to the computer,
a message about USB flash drive damage may be
displayed with a repair proposal, although the USB
flash drive has actually not been damaged.
The only purpose of the USB port is to connect a
flash memory – a USB flash drive or a card reader
with a memory card. Other devices (e.g. an external
hard disk) must not be connected without having
first consulted the manufacturer. The USB port could
otherwise be damaged.
Data saved in the * .csv file can be opened in a spreadsheet. Data
saved as *.plkx can be opened in the LabDesk software program
(accessory). This program allows, among other things, for data pre-
view in the form of a table or a graph. You can also generate a report
with statistics on a selected range of data.
During first boot-up, the screen displays information about saving the
"Download" folder (with the Operating Manual in PDF format) to the
USB flash drive. To do this, insert the USB flash drive and wait a
moment until the hardware has been detected, then press
If you press
, you quit downloading the folder. The window will
appear again during the next boot. You can tick "Don't show again"
so that the window will no longer be displayed when the device is
switched on. You can always download the "Download" folder in the
Info submenu.
