The device is equipped with sample protection – temperature protec-
tion which is performed on the basis of the temperature value meas-
ured by an independent temperature sensor called the safety sensor.
The main aim of sample protection is to protect against uncontrolled
rise or fall of temperature. When activated, the relay disconnects the
heating circuit.

There are three protection classes for the incubator:
Class 1.0 in accordance with DIN 12880 – This protection class is
always active.
Class 2.0 in accordance with DIN 12880 – the user can choose
between class 2.0 and class 3.1 in the settings.
Class 3.1 in accordance with DIN 12880 – the user can choose
between class 2.0 and class 3.1 in the settings.

In the program without ramp – The device starts the countdown of
the segment time when the set temperature is reached.
In Programs with ramp – The device starts to count down the ramp
time and then switches to the segment countdown once the set
temperature is reached, irrespective of whether the ramp time has
elapsed.
It may occur that the device fails to reach the set
temperature within the set time because the set time
duration was too short. In such situations, the time
for reaching the set temperature will be extended
and the segment's time countdown will start when
the set temperature is reached.
Time:
In Programs without ramp – The device starts counting down the
segment time when the program starts, irrespective of whether the
temperature has been reached.
In the program with ramp – First, the device counts down the ramp
time and after that period expires it proceeds to the countdown of
the segment time. It does so irrespective of whether the temperature
has been reached.
