The assessment of the personal protective equipment must take
place on site according to the actual risks which are posed by the
used substances, the procedures and the environmental conditions.
The operating company must create a hazard analysis according to
the corresponding standards and directives and enact work instruc-
tions which ensure the safe handling of the incubator and accesso-
ries.
Repairs may only be performed by a person authorized by the manu-
facturer.
Interventions and modifications to incubators by per-
sons not authorized by the company Andreas Het-
tich GmbH & Co. KG will be at one's own risk and
result in the voiding of all warranty claims, as well as
the voiding of liability claims against Andreas Hettich
GmbH & Co. KG.
Service technician
A service technician is someone who was trained and authorized by
Andreas Hettich GmbH & Co. KG to perform service work on the
incubator.
User
The users intended for the commissioning, operation and use of the
incubator include persons who work in laboratories who have read
and understood the operating instructions.
The operating company must ensure that the incubator is only used
as intended.

This incubator, which is used in particular for the cultivation of
micro-organisms (e.g. bacteria and fungi), is a laboratory device in
the sense of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.

Temperature control and incubation tasks for materials and sam-
ples with equally high requirements are also possible.

This is the sole intended use of the incubator.

Intended use also includes observing all instructions in the Oper-
ating Manual and compliance with the required inspection and
maintenance work.
Any other use or use beyond the intended use is a non-intended use.
Andreas Hettich GmbH & Co. KG will not be liable for any resulting
damage.
