Possible defects
Malfunction
The unit will not switch on.
The unit is not heating up

If the error cannot be remedied using the trouble-
shooting table, notify the service technician. Please
specify the type of device and the serial number.
Both numbers can be found on the name plate of
the incubator.
If a malfunction occurs, there is an optical and
acoustic alarm.
After a malfunction (power failure, door open too
long, etc.), the operating company must assess
whether the samples are still usable. He must there-
fore have the corresponding qualification.
Before you contact Service Department:
1.
Make sure that your operation of the incubator complies with
the unit's Operating Manual.
2.
Restart the unit to ascertain whether the unit is indeed not
functioning properly. If it is still not functioning properly, discon-
nect the unit again from the mains and repeat the operation
after one hour.
What needs to be checked?
Check if the unit is correctly
plugged into the mains power
source.
Check if the circuit-breaker has
tripped.
Check the voltage at the mains
socket-outlet.
Check if the power cable is dam-
aged.
Check if the unit door is properly
closed.
Check if the fan is switched on
(only for incubators with forced air
circulation).

What to you need to do?
Correctly connect the unit to the
mains socket-outlet.
Press the circuit breaker on the
back of the device.
Connect the device to a different
socket-outlet, preferably on a dif-
ferent electrical circuit. Have the
electrical installation checked by a
licensed electrician.
Replace the power cable.
Clean the seal.
Set the fan operation in the pro-
gram.
